1   Link   Action Wildlife Park
Action Wildlife Foundation, Inc. offers residents of CT, MA and NY the unusual opportunity of observing and learning about animals from North America, Africa, India, New Zealand, Asia and the Artic. Not only is a visit to AW an education in animal life and habitats, it is also a fun activity for children to touch and feed the smaller animals in our petting zoo. Older children and young adults are sure to be intrigued by the museum gallery.

2   Link   Beardsley Zoo
Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is a wonderful place to visit - alone or with your family. Spend an hour or the whole day and see more than 300 animals representing primarily North and South American species. Come learn about our many endangered and threatened species, which include the Amur (Siberian) tiger, Andean condor, Ocelot, Red wolf, Andean (spectacled) bear, Maned wolf, and Golden lion tamarin.

There are no lions or tigers or bears, but there are more than 200 animals and birds at the Farm & Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, located on the grounds of our main campus in Brewster, NY. Barns, stables, riding rings, trails, a greenhouse and our Children's Garden can be found at the farm, providing education and recreation to students and local residents. Our wildlife rehabilitation center features large display and flight cages for easy viewing.

Muscoot Farm is a Westchester County Park that preserves some of the agricultural history of this county. Visitors can stroll through the original barns visiting with the animals, participate in educational programs and take longer hikes on over seven miles of trails. Muscoot really has something for everyone!

Take a break from the hectic world around you. Come witness the quiet rolling hills of Connecticut. Learn why the curious gentle alpaca's fiber is comparable only to cashmere. You'll relax and maybe laugh a bit at the antics of these wonderful animals.
